I am a professional dancer and have been active from a young age. My passion for fitness has led me to explore various outlets, including Inferno Hot Pilates. The inspiration I’ve received from my dance and Pilates instructors motivated me to become a teacher myself. My teaching philosophy is grounded in a commitment to wellness and personalized growth for both my students and myself.
From a young age, I was actively involved in dance, gymnastics, softball, running, and personal training sessions. This diverse background not only honed my skills but also deepened my appreciation for physical fitness. At 16, I became very serious about ballet and moved away from home to attend a ballet boarding school. Afterward, I spent three years living in Charlotte, NC. Ballet has provided me with countless skills that I now bring to the studio to help teach and inspire others.
I moved to Nevada for a job with Nevada Ballet in August 2022 and discovered the main headquarters studio just five minutes from my home. After taking my first class, I was instantly hooked. My mom noticed how inspired I was during our visits and phone calls and suggested I start teaching. I took her advice and began teaching, and now I can’t imagine not having taken that step.

Everyone’s skill level varies and I acknowledge this and encourage all. I strive to create a welcoming, safe, and challenging environment by offering modifications for more difficult moves while keeping things simple. I emphasize that modifications are not inferior but tools for growth, focusing on proper form to advance. I encourage students to communicate any injuries or need for further explanation. Open dialogue and questions are always welcome, as they are crucial to effective teaching.
As a former student, I know what made me feel welcome and part of a community. I focus on offering encouragement, learning names, providing friendly greetings, and also just chatting about life or personal experiences from time to time with the students. I embrace my goofy side, making learning fun and creating a safe, connected environment. When you are authentic, it is more relatable and easy to connect. I also take classes with students to share in the journey. Building relationships is key.
The results with IHP extend beyond physical changes. I experience joy and fulfillment leading students to achieve their goals. I’ve become more open and confident, owning who I am. While dancing on stage in front of hundreds is one thing, leading a class is a unique challenge. Now, I can walk into any room with confidence and own it—it’s all about the choice I make.
