My fitness journey started in 2017, I ultimately wanted to feel more healthy, fit, and more confident, so I signed up for a gym and worked out almost everyday for a couple hours. About 4 years later, I stumbled my way into a heated room to take my first Hot Pilates class and it changed my life. I always dwelled on the idea of teaching hot pilates but it was merely an idea, but of course that idea is now a reality. Allow life to happen, trust that everything will fall into place, & enjoy the ride
Before becoming an IHP instructor, I was an aspiring restauranteur, working alongside other amazing restauranteurs. I moved to San Francisco, CA after graduating UNLV to work at one of the most coolest hotels in the city, W San Francisco. I absolutely loved managing a team of so many amazing personalities, we essentially created an experience for our guests. Unfortunately life had other plans for me, but I am able to bring that passion of curating an experience in a different environment.
I didn’t even know what IHP was until I showed up at a studio called BREATHE in Cambridge, MA back in 2021. I was taking classes everyday, from hot26, to vinyasa, to IHP, I was completely inspired by each practice and instructor. Now, I was at a point in my life where I felt completely lost, but hot yoga & IHP welcomed me with open arms. It guided me to a path that I didn’t know existed for me, teaching IHP. I will forever be a student, but teaching allows me to share my experience & knowledge.

I believe an IHP workout is like creating a story. The instructor is the narrator, the students are the readers, and the workout is the story. When I create a sequence, I am in the mind of the student/reader, I want the moves to flow just like a storyline in a book. So every time I teach, I am thinking ahead, I am creating a story that captures the students, that keeps them entertained, that makes them want more and more.
I focus on fostering genuine connections. Recognizing each student as they enter the studio, as they workout, and as they leave. I want them to feel welcomed and that they feel that they belong, and not that they are just “another customer”. A quote from Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” An absolute fact, and I hope to make every single student feel absolutely amazing.
To take on other modalities that allow me to translate the knowledge from each practice to another. Applying my yoga learnings to IHP classes, and vice versa. I am a forever student, so my goal is to continue to search new avenues where knowledge is provided.
